Members cedarglenguy Posted March 31, 2020 Author Members Posted March 31, 2020 Fishinwrench. Been on the lake for 12 years and never heard this Realtor marker stuff before. Thanks for the update. You've always had a lot of good info about the lake and fishing in a grouchy kind of way. I mean that in a good way.
fishinwrench Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I wasn't grouchy when I moved here either. You've got 23 years to catch up, and then we'll see what you're attitude level is like. 😂 As you leave the Niangua arm what mile mark will you be? (No map checking!) Bet you haven't a clue. You're headed from your 54 bridge to the other 54 bridge (21mm). How far is it? See? It matters. Having to look at your fuel guage, then getting out a pen and paper (or calculator) to do some crazy math.....makes me cranky. It was one way for 60+ years, then all of a sudden we have to have new maps and be mathematicians. 🙄

I agree that it is super weird here. I understand how the way they do it here makes more sense to people in some ways, but in other ways, like you mentioned, it becomes more difficult. fishinwrench 1
fishinwrench Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 No other lake in the country does that. So why does Lake O gotta have it's own "system"? And a stupid one at that. When I saw that Navonics had adopted it.....I just about lost my cool. 😅
laker67 Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Use to be we just went by landmarks. Linn creek cove, Libby cove, sunken island, Sharp marine, the Flame, and owen point etc nomolites 1
