That’s a big patch you got tilled...my wife squelched my big garden dreams...but I think we got enough to keep us busy.

i ordered thru gurneys too...my seeds are starting to come in...figure I’ll just leave them in the box out of sunlight til ready to plant.

Probably going to wait and plant corn the 25th

good luck

Just had my tiller bind up.. checked the tines.. was a foot long bolt wrapped around the shaft.. managed to destroy the retainer snap ring and other parts.. was leaking oil..

let the neighbor borrow it. not sure it happened during his use or mine on the new property.. could have picked that up from the soil anywhere.. Got the parts ordered today. Hope they can get here (really dont want to use my hoe's for the bulk of the tilling and weed remediation).

Now I just need to get a packet of RedMan Chewing tobacco and pull up a tater crate and fix my Tiller... Pop-Pop would smile down watching me fix the tiller.

He had a barn full of lawn equipment that he fixed for folks. He was a Snapper repairman back in the day when he ran the Service Station in Stillwater NJ.

Yup.. That was Pop-Pops fall back in case there was no RedMan

Thanks... Should be an easy repair.. Just hope I can get the parts delivered without some sort of delay.

I ordered a small part for my garden cart Thursday or Friday of last week off amazon...and got it today.

It was Just one of those retainer clips that go on the axle to hold the tire on...I’m such a bad mechanic...I didn’t even put it back on correctly after replacing the tires 2 weeks ago.  I was moving dirt for raised beds and looked down and it was missing...so bit the bullet and ordered 2...$6.36 for them...seemed like a bargain

I was shocked to get it so quick...came out of Florida too...free shipping

Yes.. especially from AMAZON.. they have restricted delivery of "Non Essential" goods.. even if you are a prime member. Glad you got it so soon.

My cold frame is going well, radishes are trying to take over but beets and lettuce are holding on for now.  Most of garden plans go drastically changed a few weeks ago.  So no instead of my normal garden at best I will have about 6 mineral tubs with maters, squash and cukes.  But I aint moving them into place until my tractor comes home, too heavy to wrasse around.  Will place them where wife can easily water and care for them and see what happens.  I have planted lots of plants befor and given hem free will and planted only a few and taken good care of them and done as well.  As long as I can have a few fresh sliced maters and cukes n onions and squash I will be good.  After I finish having some wilted green salads.  Good thing I still have some crappie fillets in freezer to go with.
