I have problem sliding my Foot in Lace up Boots. Don't have a problem Lacing them.

Have a pair of Tennis Shoes I can get on easier.

I mainly wear the Boots because of Snakes but the only place I have been struck is by the House.

What I'm wondering is would Tennis Shoes be enough in the Woods and out Cutting Wood? My wife says if it's raining or snowing I might as well stay home but there is early morning Frost or Dew.

Get a pair of muck boots?

Got a pair but their hard to get on because I can't get my Feet in because I can't get ahold of the back on one side.

I was just wondering if I get MUCK Boots on and Tape around the top it will help with Ticks along with Spraying. Had a bot with MRSA years ago because of a Tick.

Meindl makes some great boots and hiking shoes, very comfortable, and Goretex lined which will keep you dry in most situations but they aren't meant to be wading boots.  I have a pair, I've used them for pheasant hunting in Kansas, for hiking, and I wear them in the winter when I have to step in the water to launch my boat.  However, they ain't cheap - $200-$300 depending on model.  But a good pair of sneakers can run you $75 these days, and personally I would not wear sneakers out in the woods.

Lots of hiking shoes out there if you're looking for something sneaker sized, but heavier duty.

Back when I was young I wore tennis shoes all year round, hunting fishing etc.  Ruined a lot of socks with burrs etc.  When they got wet I set them out to dry.  Never knew any better, now I have several pairs of boots.  How they support your feet are very important and good replacement insoles help.  There are lots of mid height good quality hiking boots that should be a good middle ground, easy to slide into and lace up but have some support and can be leather or combining you prefer. Merrill, Vasque, Keen just to name a few.

For Ticks I have some spray for my Clothes that is suppose to last couple weeks.

The Tick that got me was on the back of my Thigh and I couldn't see it just knew I had a problem.

Like I say my main problem is pulling Boots on because I can't get ahold of them on one side. I've always liked Boots and have been known to get on to my wife not wearing Boots.

Let me see what I can do. My wife says I need Heavy Boots for cutting wood.

Mucks can be pulled on with one hand and kicked off with one foot.  They were my go to thing with R and then later L hip replacements.  Socks were more of an issue for me.
