Members jackman724 Posted April 21, 2020 Members Posted April 21, 2020 I used to stop by Fin and Feather in Springfield on my way down if I neglected to get in touch with Dave personally to get my Ned Heads prior to my trips to Table Rock. Wondering if there are any other local shops between Springfield and Kim City that might carry them since my joint is closed temporarily. I am heading down later today and didn't get my prework done...any help would be appreciated!
Members Lunker Lane Posted April 21, 2020 Members Posted April 21, 2020 3.5 swmibaits w/ an underspin was the ticket for smallmouths yesterday at least for me! magicwormman 1
Members C Beach Posted April 21, 2020 Members Posted April 21, 2020 What would be the blessed underspin of choice? I fished a plain swimbait yesterday / today to not much avail. Thanks. magicwormman 1

Members NebSchmidty Posted April 22, 2020 Members Posted April 22, 2020 @dtrs5kprs - are you still selling the jigs directly, or just through retailers now? Not to highjack the thread... just couldn't get the site to send you a PM. magicwormman 1
dtrs5kprs Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 No worries. At least on my end 😁. We've mostly been supplying the jigs to Fin and Feather. Not sure what we'll be doing going forward. That's been up in the air for some time. Need to update everyone on things, I guess. We have an order ready to go to them when they are able to open. Had hoped to drop it off Sunday on our way to the lake, but that didn't work out with the shut down being extended. We're in the manic stage of packing, currently. And running a combination service academy and high school, complete with room and board. vernon, magicwormman, mixermarkb and 1 other 3 1

Things changed here in SGF yesterday with what businesses can be open and do curbside. I’d call and check in with them.

If there's an overlap I'll keep an eye out for you at Walmart and Harter House! I wouldn't dare enter Schooner while you're there - that'd be almost as blasphemous as encroaching upon Beardsley without the appropriate papers! Good luck transporting the school district, athletic department and neighborhood watch group cross country single handedly! Will be a true test for the Expedition. magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." George Carlin "The only money ever wasted is money never spent." Members NebSchmidty Posted April 23, 2020 Members Posted April 23, 2020 Thanks for the update. Looks like Fin & Feather just posted on their FB page this AM that they plan on re-opening to walk-in traffic on May 4th... just don't forget your mask, apparently. Keep us (or at least me 😁) updated on the jig status, or if you would decide to ship orders direct. We're aiming to make the trek down on the 16th and stay for a week, and my ned-jig supply is looking a little thin right now. magicwormman 1
