Cranking Battery Advice

For a little added context last Friday the A/C went out in the Tahoe - likely the compressor.  

I'm guessin' $1500 - $2000 there.

Yesterday morning the Honda push mower was just sitting there idling while I picked up some dog poop when it went KABOOM and sounded like the entire engine exploded and now the pull rope is slack and there's just nothing there so I assume I either need to replace the motor or just buy a whole new mower.

Quick $750 plus tax.

Oh yeah, the main valves on my irrigation system need to be removed and replaced and my Mac is about dead and barely works.

The Mac's gonna be around two grand and who knows about the irrigation as I haven't had it looked at yet.

Ain't nothin' another dozen or so stimulus checks won't cover.

Man, I could sure use a vacation......

Oh yeah, that part's looking great too.

Down to 38 Friday night and high's in the low 60's thru Tuesday!

At least it's supposed to rain and be windy......

And I ain't even started to do that weather voodoo that I do. 🧟‍♂️

Last week my wife sent me to Walgreens for miralax. I came back with what was on sale. Turns out the online price is over half the price of what I purchased in store. She called Walgreens and was told that in store prices and online prices are different. So, had to return the ones I bought at the store and pickup the online order shipped to the store. Kid behind the counter handled the return just fine but was confused over the online order.  Looked and looked and couldn't find it.  Finally got the manager and she took me over to photo where there was a pallet sized stack of orders shipped to store.  Asked the name on the order, verified my name and handed me the package in under 30 seconds.

In fairness, that's what happened with the order at the Olathe store where I ended up getting the battery.  

If I had been dealing with that guy and that store initially there never would have been an issue.

But, then again, then it wouldn't have been "A Day in the Life of Vernon" and I wouldn't have had that story to tell!

In fact, if I hadn't taken the time to compose the story to share here I might've decided to go outside and fallen down the stairs and broken my neck.

@vernon I didn't have to get out of my truck.  He got the old ones out for the bed and dropped in the new ones.  He even finished with a namaste....
