bobby b. Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Was out for a bit this morning, first time since before the long weekend. Lots of floating debris. WT 71 deg. Marked lots of fish in 15 - 20 fow just outside the flooded tree lines either near the bottom or at mid level on the outsides of the points in North Indian Creek . Also marked some in the pockets at the same depth. A fair amount of fish were hitting the surface but would not respond to a swimbait, fluke, spook, or plopper. Managed to catch a few using the Ned on a 1/16 or 1/8 oz head. Saw just a few boats, very nice morning. I think the catching would have been much better if I had got out there earlier in the morning. GNSfishing Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Did you launch out of Indian point?? Was wondering how the ramp was compared to the high water.

No, my boat is currently in a slip. I did drive around yesterday morning and looked at several of the ramps near the lower end and mid lake including Mill Creek, Baxter, Aunts Creek, Indian Point, Moonshine, and State Park. Indian Point is not very good but doable but parking is bad. - see pic.
