Fall Trip

All,

I would greatly appreciate your input for a Fall trip.  My brother and I have been coming down to the lake for the past 20+ years during the Spring, but pushed back our trip this year do to the pandemic.  As a result, we plan to come down in the September/October timeframe.  Any insight when we should aim for during that 2 month range?  Any specific recommendations would be greatly apprecaited.

Wait till November, the bite will be better. September October are notorious for being tough.

September is the toughest month for me and I basically get things ready for fall fishing that month. Mid-Oct through November is a wonderful time to be out on the water and have been productive for me.

Make a real fun trip out of it and come down for the KVD Big Bass Tour 3 day tourn from OCT 30th - Nov 1st. Catch a big one and go home with some money!!! LOL I personally cant wait and have a blast every year.  It turns into a weekend away camping at the lake with friends fish and beer.  No Worries!!!

sept. and oct. can have some great full moon night fishing.  sept. day fishing is as hard as it gets.  bass are scattered everywhere from breaking up summer camps.  water is beginning to turn in some areas, and the first three weeks of oct. can be just as bad.  mid- november on is good.
