She said 100 MPH was too fast on two wheels. She was more into this when I blowed a back tire. My Ex same way 150 MPH is too fast going down Bypass in Springfield. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Truman is also very haRd on transducers, backing up and hello stump, goodbye transducer. I don't have the nerve let alone the insurance to run fast on the arts of truman I fish. Even the channels sometimes get floaters in them, and if you stay too late it gets really really dark.

Yelp always taking transducer out. We got hung up in one area. Went back when the Lake had went down, wall to wall trees. oneshot
Terrierman Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 I've always liked the Talley Bend area of Truman.

Members Ranger Dave Posted August 4, 2020 Members Posted August 4, 2020 I prefer the Dam, Sterrett Creek, and the Osage Bluff areas. Too many trees, stumps, and fence rows near Buck Saw and Sparrow Foot. I just came back from a weekend fishing at the Dam area. Caught 30 fish per night, 2 nights in a row. Also caught 15 white bass. Haris122 Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Throwing the idea of Truman out to my fishing buddies for our fall trip (if we end up going at all) to see if it sticks. If they’re interested, do you guys know of some relatively cheap places to stay at there?
Members Ranger Dave Posted August 15, 2020 Members Posted August 15, 2020 It depends on what part of the lake you are wanting to fish.
Haris122 Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Not sure we would have a specific area in mind. Probably wherever a good combination of relatively cheap lodging and good fishing (without too much risk of ruining a boat) would be. From the fishing prospects, the whole place sounds good.
