Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 21, 2020 Root Admin Posted November 21, 2020 It appears Table Rock has turned over enough that the water at 130 feet deep has DO adequate enough to not need the injection of liquid oxygen. The tanks are empty so all we’re getting it put TR water. Last night they bumped generation to 100 mw. That means they’ve lifted restrictions. DO levels were between 4-5, and rising a bit. Good sign. I know TR hasn’t turned over completely. It’s going to take more cold windy weather. The DO should continue to inch up in the coming weeks. This is very early for TR turnover. Someone pointed out that the USGS College of the Ozarks monitoring station was reading 1 ppm DO. I asked Shane Bush about it and he thought the gage is off. No way DO could be dropping AFTER coming from the dam and traveling 5 miles down lake. laker67, snagged in outlet 3, JestersHK and 1 other 2 2

bologna Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Is that why it stinks so bad down there, I was down below the dam last night and it smelled like sewage. Also fishing was poor for me

dpitt Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I also smelled that yesterday, thought it might be lake turnover, but then heard all the construction equipment and land movers, so i think its turnover, not lake turnover, but earth turnover around outlet three.

What's going on at outlet 3?
dpitt Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Sounded like they where doing some kind of excavating or earth moving, not at outlet three but behind it just north of it where the pond is. I could see, hear, and smell the dirt being moved. laker67 1
