David Goddard Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 With all my favorite streams blown out and Table Rock fishing tough my Thanksgiving fishing trip plan A and B are out the window. My nephew's 12th birthday is right around this time so I thought I'd take him on his first fishing trip. I know there's tournaments this weekend so if anyone doesn't want to give any info I totally understand, but have they been biting on Stockton? Some guys say jts alot like Table Rock and I've never fished it so I'm just curious. Not looking for spots just general patterns. Like I said I've never fished Stockton before and would just like my nephew to get on a bunch of fish. Maybe catch his first smallie and walleye too but we will just be bass fishing. Thinking a swimbait, ned rig, and jerkbait but not really sure. Any help is much appreciated.

Steve McBasser Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Hey David... the big whites are still playing a little bit too right now. Hit windy gravel points south of Mutton Creek with the smallest rattle trap type baits you can find and you're almost sure to get bit. They hit like a freight train and pull even harder. Can't imagine any 12 year old not liking that.... David Goddard, Johnsfolly, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4
