Maverickpro201 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 How is the wireless/cableless pedal? It is my understanding that it can be hardwire also? Is there any complaints from people that have the Force? I am looking at buy all Garmin electronics and trolling motor. Force, 2 - 93's, 1 with livescope, What I want for the bow, is sonar, down imaging and maybe side imaging if I can get it and for it to follow waypoint and contours on the trolling motor.. Want the 93 at the helm, with sonar, with side and down imaging with mount for jackplate. And want the 2-93's linked so the partner in the back can see what I am seeing off the trolling motor, if he chooses. Is there anybody here with the knowldge of want the hell I exactly need for this to perform like this? I know there are some packages out there and rebates, and I want to take advantage of these also. And what would the exact model numbers are, cable needed?. Really need some help as I do not want to buy to much/more than I need nor do I want to have to keep ordering or exchanging stuff because I bought the wrong stuff. Or is there some one here that is a dealer, sells and installs. I am south west of St. Louis Not the sharpest pencil out there when it comes to electronics buying because they all have some differences . Thanks for all the help.

So I don’t have one but I went out in the boat with a guy who has one...they’re quiet and powerful. BUT...at least two times during a days fishing he lost connection and had to be reset...took at least 5 minutes each time. He’s not happy. But I’ve heard others love theirs. PM me and I’ll forward his info to you. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

Maybe Tristate trolling motors can help.
Maverickpro201 Posted December 14, 2020 Author Posted December 14, 2020 Have never been very impressed with their service or advise. They sold a friend and I was with him, a bag of beans on some lowrance equipment, that would not link and then had the nerve to say it was not their fault, several years ago. Also would not fix a trolling motor, warranty work, because it would not do it in there shop, butyou put the trolling motor in the sun for a few hours and it would shut down. We ended replacing the circuit board our self and eating the 200 buck for the part, problem fixed. snagged in outlet 3 1

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 I have used the Garmin Force i a buddies boat and never had any issue with it losing connection. I would suggest wiring it in running out of foot pedal batteries sucks. IT happened with my old motorguide numerous times. I have 3 Garmin head units and Livescope, to link the all together all you need is a GMS 10 network hub (PART NUMBER 010-00351-00) and Ethernet cables. I would call Russell Marine. I know they have bundle packages right now. I worked with them a couple times and they are all knowledgeable about everything. And they ship extremely fast i had my livescope and i ordered the Force troller for my buddy and it showed up in under 24hrs, not sure how that was even possible snagged in outlet 3 1
rps Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 I have the Garmin Force. I do not use the foot pedal. I use the fob exclusively, a habit I first picked up with the MinnKota Ulterra. Unless you are in a fast and dangerous water flow, the fob is all you need. I park my foot pedal as far out of the way as I can and tether my fob to my inflatable life vest. Trust me. It is the only way to go, as long as you carry a spare battery for the fob. BTW, the Force rocks.
Maverickpro201 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Ya I found that out on Contours, it does not have but you can map and follow that at a later time.Pulled the trigger yesterday. 2- 106sv-ultra, Livescope, Garmin Force, Wire upgrade, cables, install, etc.Hope we are happy with this and it works flawlessly.
