It was actually a little better due to rona. The rental places only rented them once a day instead of turning them around for a second time.
fishinwrench Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 The 'rona sure didn't slow down the boat traffic here on LO last year. It actually made the season start earlier and end later, and weekdays were just as busy as weekends. Lakeside pubs, marina's, and restaurants had a banner year.

Yep the season was longer but in the dam area at Tablerock they rent a lot of boats. Marinas right there that rent. Long creek, big cedar, state park and Indian point. Kimberling is not far either
Alex Heitman Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 My favorite past time is sitting on point 1 at table rock when the lake is low and watch how many boats go way inside the buoy and hit lower unit. 90% are rentals. I can’t count how many times I’ve been fishing that point and they run right between you and the bank in about 2 ft of water snagged in outlet 3 1

Send a rental boat out here, and 3 out of 10 times you'll be towing it back in pieces.

If so I’ve also seen that. And fishermen rotate through there all day.

They don’t even bother with a walk around or prop check anymore. https://www.stateparkmarina.com/rentals fishinwrench 1
