Finally got drawn

when it rains it pours...we drew near the clubhouse on Saturday...and up north Sunday.   

anybody been lately?

son goes back to school when finished Sunday so hoping to make a memory...

I was at Grand Pass last week and it was froze up pretty tight. It has been pretty tough up there. I hear they have been going gangbusters on the river though.

Thanks for replying...We’re at 4rivers both days...so hopefully be ok.  I need to get the boat inside and Blind dried out today...before it freezes.

Otter was good last weekend, but I'm done for the year. Putting the decoys away this weekend. Up north is thick ice by all accounts. Bring a chainsaw to carve a hole. Might get out again if I can find a spot to shoot some Canada's or specks.

Got the boat inside and blind up...the ponds aren’t frozen today in rich hill area...and 40 degree days...and 25 degree nights are predicted from now thru weekend...hopefully it’ll be ok

Which pools did you draw wily?  I haven’t hunted Unit 1 since youth season but have been in Unit 2 a fair amount lately.

Good luck.  I used to hunt that area a lot before there was such a thing as 4 Rivers.  Always wanted a good fall flood!

It’s anything but a flood this year...was dry as a popcorn fart early...but I think it’s gotten better.   We haven’t been but I think north will be good...by the clubhouse is still low I think
