Bill Babler Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 We should hit a 3' rise sometime around noon since this weather pattern started. That roughly works out at a Table Rock increase of about 1 inch per hour For the past 36 hours. That's pretty healthy. Were do you guys think this will crest? In Phil's Taney report he thought TR would come up 3' but it looks like we will be quite a bit over that. I'm terrible at guessing lake levels but I'm thinking somewhere between 719 and 20. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Bill Babler Posted April 29, 2021 Author Posted April 29, 2021 Quick Bulletin. COE will open 5 gates at TRD at 0900 this morning 1 foot, to compensate for the rain in the area. The flow will be 15,000 CFS. If shad start coming thru down there the fishing will be spectacular on Taney. dpitt and dtrs5kprs 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Good to hear they are going to start moving some of this water out, long range forecast showed more rain possible next week, but nothing about whether it will amount to much. Evening news showed the precip totals over the region and the worst of it was around the Fayetteville area stretching NE. Beaver is really coming up fast, would not surprise me if they start dumping water out of Beaver. Little Sugar is way out of its banks, but that drains to Grand. It will mess up some of the golf courses here.
Devan S. Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 NWS-Springfield shows for the calendar year 2021 we are sitting at 18.35" of rain. Normal is 12.58" so we're almost 6" ahead. At this point last year, we were at 21.51" so 9"+ ahead.
skeeter Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 On our Davis Instruments Vantage Vue weather station at Baxter area, 21.06" for the year...so far, 4.06" for the recent storm total including another .65" since midnight.
