I got a news flash for Mitch.  The only way to control your kids curriculum is to home school them and thereby condemn them to a life of being a weird home schooled kid.

I pretty much agree with you. Or send them to a good private school

With your billing rate, and the economy like it is, my guess is good private school for your kids.  That's a good choice.  I can remember very early on in primary school I was in a good private school in Virginia.  Things changed and it was a public school education from then on.  Even being very young at the time I can remember ways it was different.

Rockwood is actually a great school district for the most part. Things can change quickly and the superintendent left last year. I need to delve into the reasons why. This latest fiasco makes me wonder.

Fair enough.  But.  Private school > Public School.  Money talks.  Would you rather have a law degree from Mizzou or Harvard?  All things being equal of course.
