I believe it was on this forum that I found a thread with a link to a website for beginning fly tying. If I remember correctly, the author walked you through several basics flies such as a woolly bugger and pheasant tail, but concentrated more on specific techniques rather than the fly itself. The idea was that by the time you completed the author's designated flies you had a decent grasp on most of the basic tying techniques. I've searched the old threads using all of the search terms I can think of without success. Does this old thread or website ring a bell to anyone?

I realize my plea for help is very vague, I'm just hoping someone may know what I'm referring to. I thought I saved it in my favorites, but apparently not.

I created a fly tying video website with a repository of videos.  They are organized by fly boxes (species, location ,etc.) There's also a "How To" fly box with videos you might be able to use to teach from.   Here's a link https://flytyerworld.com  . There's also a mobile app. Hope it helps.

Not the one I’m thinking of but I’ll definitely check it out!

Thanks for all the responses! They will be very useful. I know YouTube and other sites are full of resources, and I fully intend to use many of those resources. I was just looking for something specific from that website.
