jdmidwest Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Never Bass fished the river. Spent some time years ago from Meramec Spring to Scotts Ford chasing trout. But I had never bass fished it till today. Took a father and son team out in the boat that lives there and was wanting to see what we could do out of a jet boat. It was 45 this morning on the ramp and you could see your breath. Had a good solid day on the water from 7:30 till 3 and had fish on all day. They were not busting it. No topwater at all. All swim baits and plastics. Chartreuse was the color of the day for me. Many 12 -15, lots of dinks, a solid 18, and this nice 19 1/2" beast. Fall is here and I have found new water. DADAKOTA Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Used to fish the Meramec all the time when I lived in St. James while going to college in Rolla. Sure miss those days.
Seth Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Very nice! Those smallies are a blast to catch.
