Nice.

I make it a point to tour the Civil War sites when I am down south.  Kinda sad how they treated the Confederate bodies.  Most were dumped in mass graves or ditches for burial.  They were all Americans.  It was not like a foreign invader trying to take over.

The real meaning of the South's rebellion was the Government was trying to ruin the way they did business.  They grew the crops that fed and clothed the North.  And the Government wanted to take away the combines and planters.

The advent of  better machinery to farm with would have prevented the war and ended slavery anyway.

Yes everything is mechanical and chemical.

Even back when I was first married they was doing so much by hand for $1 an hour. Hey couple make $20 a day Chopping Cotton.
 

There was 80 in our family that fought in the Civil War 50 fought for the Confederacy.

In this battle there was 2,000 Union Soldiers buried in one Cemetery.

You need to try this place in Little Rock if its still open.  Eat a bowl of venison chili.  Enjoy the scenery.
