I dropped in at 7:10 this morning - out at 10:15. Water Temp was 76, cloudy for the most part and the wind was blowing pretty good. I had a pretty good day- caught around 20 total with a good variety of fish. Blue gill, crappie, channel cat, small mouth, Kentucky and Largemouth.
The crappie was about 12”. I had one Kentucky that might have been 15” but I didn’t measure it. I took pictures of these 3 largemouths and the catfish. All I threw today was a jerk bait. I picked up a new color at baitwrx in Springfield and wanted to try it - it worked right off the bat so I stuck with it. You can see it in the picture - it’s called Northern Special.
