I let off the throttle and the boat bow hooked somewhere in the neighborhood of 68-72mph and ejected me into 42° water.  

The prop had too much lift.

I ran one on my Tracker with a 70, when I lived down south, mainly for the durability when hitting stumps rather than speed.

Hmm.🤔 You'd rather bend a prop shaft than fold a prop blade ?
