Gardening done right is a lot of work. Going to the farmer's market is a lot of fun. Plus there's a lot more variety there than I ever want to deal with growing on my own.

jdmidwest Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 I have an adopted Uncle in Joplin that has a small hobby farm there since retirement. He grows tomatoes, paw paws, select black berries, gooseberries, and other various things. He is very selective on his varieties and will go and meet with researchers that are developing new strains. And he brings his stuff along on fishing trips. But he mops up at farmers markets. Terrierman 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S.
