Where were all the boats headed

I was driving south on I-44 this morning between St Louis and Sullivan i bet i saw 100 or more really nice boats headed north, none were wrapped.

That sure is a lot of boats.  Were the on transports or being individually towed?

Probably all heading home for Easter Sunday. Probably were at Tablerock fishing.

Yeah, they were all being towed by individuals, Most these rigs were very new looking too, just seemed odd that many headed the same way on a Saturday morning. Cant think of any close lakes that they would have been headed to up that way

They would have been heading West to go to Grand Lake.

yeah there were heading the opposite way up by St Louis

I was referring to an event completed not a future one.
