Old dog 417 Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Just checked Lakes online and noticed Stockton has risen 3'+ today. That's a lot of water in a hurry! Current level is approximately 874.4 or 7' above normal pool. Could be an onslaught of trash and floaters out there. Let's be careful and keep a sharp eye! olddog grizwilson 1
Dutch Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 I just checked it’s come up another foot. That’s 4 feet in 12 hours.
Skeeter ZX190 Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Corps of Engineers is forecasting it to reach 11 feet high in a couple of days. That could change if it rains more tonight.

Kramr Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 I'm sure most already know about this website: Stockton Lake Water Level (uslakes.info) So, is rise strictly due to weather or is the corp also holding some of the water back?

According to the generation schedules, they aren't letting anything out this weekend and hardly any during the week. They usually won't release Pomme and Stockton until Truman has stabilized, since they can only let so much through LOZ. -Austin

I figured it had as much to do with the other lakes, especially LOZ since a lot of people live right on the water, as it does with the amount of rain.
Dutch Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 877.41 at 1:30 still rising. I talked with the State Park and COE. Both have pulled the courtesy docks. If any of you are close by, how about some pics. watermen2 1

Just to clarify, releases from Pomme, Stockton and Truman are not affected by LOZ at all. lmt-outfitters and Heretolearn 2
