Members Point26bassguy Posted May 5, 2022 Members Posted May 5, 2022 Hey all! I used to watch this forum when I lived over in Joplin/Lamar, always wishing I could move back to "my lake", where I grew up. My family moved to Eagle Rock in the early 60s when Table Rock was very young. I've spent much of the last 50 years wanting to get back and last year prayers were answered! I'm a 99% bass guy, but when I was young, I chased some trout around on Roaring River. Have had the pleasure of fishing out of Lilley's once back in '14 (I think) and recall it being a great place. My grandpa was a creel census clerk on Taneycomo on the 60s,so I've always had a soft spot in my heart for that water. Getting to fish plenty now as I'm retired, and as y'all know, fishin came to a screeching halt with this rain. Over the weekend, I caught around 50 blacks and Kentuckys, and some whites that were snacking on shad where I landed a 5# white on topwater. That was awesome! So, thanks fie this forum, it'll be a good place to read and share stories, ideas, frustrations (gently). Quillback, dpitt and Phil Lilley 3

Don't be gentle......let 'r rip! There's alot more to get frustrated about now, than there was 30 years ago. 😁 Deadstream 1

Members Point26bassguy Posted May 6, 2022 Author Members Posted May 6, 2022 Y'know, based on this morning's lake level, the Pt. 26 sign has to be very nearly in the water. 2021 deja vu.
