Dutch Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 We launched at Stockton Park and motored to Hartley. We got on fish outside of a point and picked up 3. On the inside we picked up a couple more. Then it got tough. We would get a bite about every quarter of a mile. We used various plastics and had bites but could only get hookups on worms. We hit some bluff ends but got nothing. We moved into Hawker and caught a few more. It was a tough day with 10 bass and 1 walleye. Here are the best 2 fish. Phil Lilley, Targa98, Quillback and 1 other 4

MrGiggles Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Water temps in the mid 60s already after that heat wave? -Austin
Heretolearn Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I finally got out this evening and it was slow, but beautiful. Water temps started out ~72 and dropped to 69 just before dark according to my electronics. I did catch 2 keeper crappie, but couldn't get a pattern going. Looks like I may need to learn how to night fish.
