This permit application must be properly completed in order for the Missouri State Highway Patrol to consider approval of a marine event (tournament, parade, race, exhibition, etc.) on navigable waters of the State of Missouri as required by Section 306.130 RSMo I don’t think these types follow the regatta advice much, like the fishing community. Probably wouldn’t even know it existed. 2 hours ago, rps said: If they are all tied together, at least they won't be running up and down the lake annoying everyone. One could only hope, but this may be one of those “hold my beer” scenarios. 44 minutes ago, fishinwrench said: Absolutely, I totally get it. If I was 25 years old I would be into it in a big way. We had a wakeboard boat and taught lots of my kids friends the ropes over the years. Had roughly 500 pounds of ballast while we were actually wakeboarding. I see so many of these boats now with full ballast just running around the lake, causing those 4’ swells behind. We always catered to the fishermen, as we were those too. Never went into a cove that had any other boaters. fishinwrench 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

If they just headed down the lake it wouldn't be a big deal..... but a single wake boat will choose an area and go 'round & 'round turning an entire 2 mile stretch of water into a giant washing machine. You oughta see what 5/6 of them can do in the narrow arm up Long Creek by the Arkansas state line. It was unbelievable. fishinwrench 1
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 Nobody even wakeboards anymore, all they do is surf. When i was 25 i was down everyday wakeboarding. Got hurt way to many times. We would put 1000lbs in the ballast and the "wedge" down and back then it was a big wave but nothing compared to what they are making now. We even had a buddy that worked for one of those dealerships that sold the big Sea Rays. One evening we built a bridal for the back with a ski rope and took out the 48fter to surf behind. Talk about a wave lol snagged in outlet 3 1
