Hi All,

I was planning a trip to Lake Taneycomo for next weekend and had questions about water levels. Even though I have been to the down there many times I never took my boat out. I have a 20' Deep V Tracker Targa and I was hoping to launch at the Copper Creek boat launch and go up the river to fall creek marina and drift down and repeat. With the water levels being so low is that still doable? I know it's kind of hard to guess when the generators will be running opr maybe there is aa way to find out.

Thanks

Yep you're good to go.  It was only 17 mgw's today and you could get to Fall Creek easy.

Thank you all... I heard that I need to be on the right side as I pass short creek. What obstacles lay on the left side passing short creek?

Above Fall Creek read this thread:

That map is only a rough estimate of the route now.   You better know exactly where you’re going above fall creek on a 20 mgw or less with a prop boat.  Even one full unit can be sketchy up there.

There are some logs at the mouth and it shallows up. With the crowds nowadays you're going to be idling through that area anyway.
