SE Texas pond fishing

Working down in Beaumont, and have the opportunity to fish a really nice RV park pond while I’m here. Caught this dandy yesterday. Close to a 6lber. Hopefully more to come!!

Nothing at all wrong with that toad, I wish i had ponds i could take my boy in to catch something that would really give him a fight...We have a neighborhood pond but he has caught enough bluegill to last him a lifetime

It’s really a small lake. About a hundred acres. Still an active sand dredging pit. Theirs like 4 of them back to back. Next week we’ll have my bosses boat. If your ever around Vidor TX look up Boomtown RV. Really good people.
