Playing around with a new Livescope and found that I couldn’t leave biting fish.

All the spots we caught were 30-35’ on long gravel main lake points. Bait didn’t matter so much, Dropshot, Keitech, Ned. I think every one of them was 14.99” and full of shad.

I’m ready to beat the bank again but the deep bite is great for my 4 yr old fishing buddy. (Pictured with his grandpa here)

There is a shallow bite up in the James and Flat Creek area first thing in the morning until about 10am...then they move out into that 10-20 range. Water way up in James arm was only 75°F yesterday...main lake area was 82-84°F.

Great report. Bass are really starting to shallow up the White from what I’m hearing. That oh so often magic 22’ to 26’ number that comes into play as the water hits the 70’s.

Walleye bite has really slowed however as I think they start to also move this time of year

Durn things start thinking about spawning when it’s still Winter and move up the creek and river arms really early

If anyone is still on them let us know.

Good Luck

Good fishing weather in the forecast, 60's warming up to the mid 80's during the day.  I'm sure it will be a tough bite still, but might as well get out there.  Think I'll try Beaver this week, got a couple of appointments to work around, so only will have a day or two to fish.
