At least I will know to move on rather than stick it out waiting for the fish to get hungry.  I noted that in watching MLF that at times these guys will stay in one place forever without bites because they know the real deal is there.

@vernon  How close does the camera have to get to see the spots on the bass?  That's a lot of clarity for colored water.

I dunno about colored water as I never even tried that. If the water isn’t clear I doubt you could see much of anything. The infrared lights make a huge difference in “dark” water, aka deeper water though. 

However, the clarity of the picture in clear water is just like watching TV.

Maybe not Ultra 4K HD but really good. 

As for the fish I referred to in Indian Creek I’d say the camera was four or five feet away and it was easy to tell it was a Kentucky. Even at that depth the picture was crystal clear and in vivid color. 

Trees, rocks, etc. were equally evident up to probably twenty or twenty five feet away. After that it pretty much fades to a grey blur.
