What honey is best for a human?

I have been told pure un-filtered is better.

Does it taste the same?

Looking to buy to put into my coffee in the mornings.

Is the regular honey you buy in the store good or what is better?

Does one taste better than the other?

Thanks

100 % raw. Unfiltered is a tricky word in honey. I filter enough to remove the wax capping is all. honey is full of pollen, and it is good for you they claim. Taste is better. When buying honey from the store you really don't know what you are getting or where it is from. Read the label. I am treatment free for my colonies, no poison for mite control. I have never bought a bee. I trap wild feral bees to introduce into my hives. Try to find and support a local beekeeper. If you were close, I would get you hooked on good honey.

I filter mine to remove capping and bee parts, but it's 100 percent raw.

Some producers will pasteurize it before bottling that will affect flavor.

Honey has the high sugar content and enzymes to prevent bacteria and make it shelf stable for years.  No refrigeration needed

It all depends on what they were working on when they stored it.  I pulled mine this year after the clover in July.  It was really light.

2 years ago it was a dark brown when I pulled it in July.  But it was a mix of 2 locations 60 miles apart.  One is mostly timber and wildflowers.  Other has yards and timber.
