Where our Cabin is it is on a 90X100 foot lot. Been hauling water.

Bought the 90X100 foot lot next to it and making arrangements to run water from neighbors Well.

Now my Son is going to get in trouble telling his mom we need a Boat.

Running water at the cabin will be a nice plus.

Yelp we had considered drilling a Well but long run this will be better.

I sure like fishing there. Hunting is good to but getting around is different problem.

Nothing wrong with a shared well.  You and the well owner should work something out now for repairs when it happens - which it will someday sooner or later.  If it was me, I'd be kicking in for the electricity too.  Sure it's not a lot, but I'm funny about wanting to always pay my way.

That must be some artesian well if you think you can justify a boat to use it in that new water.....

Every "shared well" story I've ever heard.....always had a sour ending.

And that's all I have to say.... about that. 🙄

That's because they didn't get it right up front.  There are thousands of shared wells in Missouri.

I'm not saying that problems existed with the well because more than one home was being serviced by it.

I'm saying that problems existed among PEOPLE.....that were a RESULT of the "shared well".

In other words.....Had they each owned their own well, there would have never been any arguments, animosity, or hard feelings.

Ah all good.  Back in the 80's everyone was to have Water, Electric and a Club House.

But things change.

We do have a Shower House.

Ah Son was talking about a Boat to fish Truman Lake but I know all the good spots to fish from the bank.
