Dutch Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 I went down by the dam looking for specs. I fished over 10 brush piles. I could see fish but none of them would even look at my bait. When I tired of that I pulled out a wart and caught a 4# in about 10 minutes. I threw it for 2 more hours caught another keeper then called the dogs and put out the fire to go watch some Bball. Quillback Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 If you're only going to get 2 bites, it is nice when one is a 4 lber.!
Targa98 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Hey dayne, how was the water color up there. Is the water getting close to the bushes or still got some room. Did you happen to notice the color any farther south on the lake some
Dutch Posted March 26, 2023 Author Posted March 26, 2023 I stayed below Edge Island. The water color was pretty clear. It is close to the bushes but bad. I did cross Sons on 39. It was kind of muddy. Targa98 1
MrGiggles Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I was out on Saturday and never went further up than Crabtree. Some trash in the water but it was not muddy at all. Probably the busiest I have seen it so far this year, lot of boats out. Walleye are still coming up and doing their thing. I had two keepers and one short, along with a couple whites and a bass. I did pretty well with crappie on 3/14 but not so well this time around. Quillback 1 -Austin
