Another cold morning, still feels like winter out there at least early in the AM it does.

We threw Keitechs and some of Dutch's home made paddle tails all morning.  One of those days where   you'd pick up one or two and then fish for another 15 minutes without a bite.  I'd say most of our bites were in 5-10 feet of water, with a few deeper.  We caught a couple dozen bass, mostly smallmouth, 5 of them were keeper sized.  Dutch caught a fat spotted bass that we estimated to be at least 2.5 lbs.  That was our biggest bass.

Caught a couple of walleye and a 3 lb. striper.

There was some top water striper activity early.

Wind really started blowing around 9 AM, that made things a lot more challenging.

Sure looks cold! Still you guys were able to catch a few and that is always better than the alternatives of not catching any or not even going😉

I enjoyed meeting you as well @Dutch. Y'all quit a little too soon. After y'all loaded up I went a ran a short distance and caught a couple of 2.5# brown fish. I certainly don't blame y'all for leaving though, wind was not fun! Here's one y'all missed out on.
