196champ
Managed to get out a few mornings this week, Monday until 8:00 AM or so and Tuesday a little later. I was able to get a great friend and vendor out on Tuesday morning for a bit, he had never experienced table rock so it was quite the treat. The deep fishing takes some time to figure out but he did great with a little swimmer and figured out the dixie jet. Had 30+ fish Monday morning, it was incredible fishing, a double on top to start things off, that was the only TW bite i had. had a 14 in a row streak with the little swimmer, they were just chewing good. Went to try a crappie hole and they were there too, biting the Jet on every drop. several in the 14'-15' range, dinner plate size. My time ran out and had to get to work. Tuesday was not as fast a furious but we ended with 40+ combined, the crappie slid up under the dock another 10' and we couldn't get to them. All in all an excellent few mornings. I haven't been able to get down much this year but enjoying the time i can. 3/4oz Dixie Jet and 1/4 oz swimmer did almost all the damage. Quillback
Very nice! I was out a couple of times before the heat wave rolled in and had good luck on Keitechs and top waters. Not too many places holding them, but when you find them, there can be quite a few.
