AI and Fishing

I'm in the software business, so felt compelled to check out the  ChatGPT platform.   It's pretty smart, essentially it has been trained on all the available fishing content available on the internet.

I’m really fascinated by it but hesitant to download the app.  Our company has started using it already.

You can access via a web browser, which is safe.  It should not be any more dangerous that google search. I'm sure they are capturing the questions you ask like google, so the only thing to worry about it the type of questions you ask .   That's why some companies ban it, they don't want trade sectretes potentially captured.

Every time I try to use it wants me to download the app.  I’ll try through a browser.   As if Google doesn’t keep and use our data😆

I've played with it some. It's fun in the respect that it feels like you're having a conversation, and it always answers your questions. The answers aren't necessarily correct though. If you ask it to provide links to the source(s) it will do so, then you can verify both the source and the validity of the answer. If you have to do that, it's little different than a Google search though. It has potential, but it ain't there yet.
