dpitt Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I'm in the software business, so felt compelled to check out the ChatGPT platform. It's pretty smart, essentially it has been trained on all the available fishing content available on the internet. Here's the link. https://chat.openai.com/ And here are some fishing related questions I asked. These are also referred to as prompts. Give it a shot pretty interesting stuff. grizwilson, nomolites and snagged in outlet 3 2 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I’m really fascinated by it but hesitant to download the app. Our company has started using it already. dpitt 1
dpitt Posted September 26, 2023 Author Posted September 26, 2023 You can access via a web browser, which is safe. It should not be any more dangerous that google search. I'm sure they are capturing the questions you ask like google, so the only thing to worry about it the type of questions you ask . That's why some companies ban it, they don't want trade sectretes potentially captured. snagged in outlet 3 1

As if Google doesn’t keep and use our data😆 dpitt 1
bfishn Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I've played with it some. It's fun in the respect that it feels like you're having a conversation, and it always answers your questions. The answers aren't necessarily correct though. If you ask it to provide links to the source(s) it will do so, then you can verify both the source and the validity of the answer. If you have to do that, it's little different than a Google search though. It has potential, but it ain't there yet. dpitt 1 I can't dance like I used to.
