If you were not out this weekend you missed the best of the year. 

I really believe the weather change will have the Deer moving.

Now?   Even with the wind, and the trees still full of leaves ?     

Conditions for "best" I would think to be a little closer to Thanksgiving.

They are thick at my house.  Walking right up to the windows in daylight.   Bucks chasing does all night around the house triggering the cameras as they go.  Cameras are getting a workout. Over 70 videos last night alone.

I just learned something cool about "pet" deer.  They are petrified of Jack-O-lanterns. 

They get about 30 feet from it, and you can tell by the way they look at it that they absolutely do NOT trust it.   After about a minute that tail goes up and they are GONE 👏

At times I have 10 deer in my backyard.  They love the persimmons.   They get on their hind legs and jump to get them.  Probably pretty good meat.  Garden and flower fed.  😂
