Yep, happens every year. Field and pasture burning in Northern Arkansas.

600 acre controlled burn, I heard reported earlier, despite high winds.

Dang near the whole state was smoked up.  Everyone was burning fields,, ditches, brush piles, you name it.

You never been to Central Texas Hill Country in January/February when the cedar/juniper is exploding. I guarantee you have never seen anything like it.
