Big M area March 6

I went fishing twice on the 6th.  Messed up the date on my other thread.

Spent the day bank beating, a little too breezy for Ned fishing, except in a few places.  Caught some on the cranks and jigs, most of them shallow, less than 10 feet.  Smaller fish on average today, only had 2 keepers and had half a dozen or so that were between 10-12 inches.  Most came from inside of coves and pockets.  

Caught 16 total.

Noticed several redbuds blooming on the drive home.  I think this about 3-4 weeks early for them.

Our forsythia are blooming!   Crazy.  Nice trip.

They have been for about a week.  Popcorn trees and pear trees are all blooming right now.

Good friend launched at Big M yesterday. Said they had 46 bass and 1 walleye. 14 keeps. Nothing big. Mostly LM with their biggest fish being a Jaw. 
All on a Megabass Jerker.  15’ and under.
Said they watched the major of them eat it on live Scope  

Surface temp was 53/54.

I can't catch them on a jerker.  Probably helps to know where they are.  😀
