dwiebenga
Hit the water about 7am hoping to find a few fish before my son woke up and he joined me. Found 2 solid keepers on a 2.8 Keitch. Fish were on points about 10-15 feet of water. Bites were not plentiful, but quality was good. Picked him up at 9am and we headed out. We focused on Spawning pockets and round points. All of our fish today came on a swimbait or a jerkbait. Water was 57-59 degree and clear. Quillback, STLbassbuster, Carl W and 3 others

Members DavidB
We're coming up on Sunday for our annual (since '82) week on the lake. Can y'all give some lowlanders advice on the methods you use with the Keitech 2.8? Thanks in advance. This site has been helpful to us, every year. Quillback
I use 1/8 and 3/16th oz heads with a 2.8. I like Dirty Jigs jigheads as they have a short shank hook which allows for more "wiggle" in the swimbait. I'd bring some 3.3's too. I fish the 3.3 on a 1/4 oz head. Some folks will swim the 2.8 on a 1/4 oz head and do well. There's some top water action going on now in parts of the lake STLbassbuster, DavidB, bfishn and 1 other
