Quillback Posted June 25 Posted June 25 It was a slow one for myself and Dutch this morning, we caught 15 smallmouth and one largie and were off the water at 1030. None of them made the keeper list. Jigs and a few on a c-rigged craw. I'd say most of our fish were in 10-20 FOW. Talked to a striper fisherman that was docking his boat and he had caught a couple of 24" stripers. WT 85. snagged in outlet 3, AR Huzgr and MarkG52 3
AR Huzgr Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Better then my day! I attempted to get out from Prairie Creek only to find a dead battery at the ramp (due to key in the ACC position). So just fished around PC via trolling motor. Only caught 1- 3 lb catfish. Also lost my transom saver bar so a great morning all the way around! snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 1 2
Dutch Posted June 25 Posted June 25 It’s a beautiful place even though it has my number. Thanks for the trip.

The shallow water seems to be completely empty.

I talked to a buddy today that fished the Big M area - he caught 3 keeper walleye but they were at 60 feet on the bottom (spoons). I'll still keep banging my head against the wall, but looking forward to November when things get cold again. snagged in outlet 3 1

I haven’t been on the main lake much since I’m in a flat bottom Jon boat and I don’t have any “spots” where I’ve caught them. It’s like a big sea of nothing when I’ve tried. I went to the docks around my place but only caught a couple dinks.
Dutch Posted June 26 Posted June 26 We have caught them on the main lake and in large coves but not in the back. I rarely go to the back of a cove. The main lake fish have been on flat banks outside of coves. The inside ones have been around rocks and ledges. snagged in outlet 3 1
