Jeff and I met at sun up today.  It was cloudy and 41° with no wind.  One boat launched ahead of us.  We fished down to Cedar Hollow.  Before we left the first stop the north wind came up and blew all morning.  It wasn’t white capping but close.  Several of the places that I wanted to fish were too fish were too windy for bottom contact baits.  We used swim baits, jigs, Ned rigs and shaky heads.

We wound up with 8-10 bass caught on a variety of places with no apparent pattern.  Jeff had a couple of nice keepers on swim baits.  It stayed cloudy all day and it was bone chilling cold.  We only saw 3 other boats today and they were close to Cape on the way back.  The water was 56° most every where we went.  Maybe the upcoming rain will turn things around.
