Water temperature is from about 64-68 depending on where your at. Some warmer temperatures in the afternoon. I saw 70 in Mutton Creek Friday afternoon. The fish are definitely in the middle of spawning. Alot of fish up shallow. Less than 3-5 feet of water. Saw beds everywhere I fished. Which was mostly mid-lake. Yesterday was an outstanding day. I spent the whole day pitching a strike king menace in and around the bushes in the very back of the pockets. Probably my favorite way to fish. No real big ones, probably 4-5 over 3lbs. I couldn’t get the little males to leave the menace alone. They were very aggressive. I had a couple actually get it as soon as it hit the water, almost like a topwater bite. The bushes I targeted were the ones with more water behind them. Not necessarily in deeper water but more water behind them. It’s a good time to go if you like shallow pitching. Also did pretty good on a Zoom black ultravibe speed worm. Good luck

I also noticed something I haven’t seen before at Stockton, several areas with grass or milfoil. It was in alot of the places we fished

I saw that last year.  I was told that it is pond weed.  It disappears in the summer.
