netboy Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I took the boat to White Hole this morning and the water was over the ramp. I guess you would need waders to launch up there. Turned around and came home. Never seen the water this high. dpitt, snagged in outlet 3, BilletHead and 1 other 3 1
tjm Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I was over there to Cotter once in the late '80s when I was told they had all gates open and full generation, river was in the trees everywhere that I stopped. Came back through Theodosia and the lake was so full that the picnic pavilions near Forsyth had the roofs covered with lake. BilletHead, netboy and nomolites 3
Quillback Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I wonder if they still manage the river to keep below the levels at the Newport gauge. Gauge is showing the river at 24 feet. 15 April – 7 May : Regulate to 14 feet except, regulate to 21 feet from 15 April through 30 April, and 18 feet from 1 May through 14 May, if the 4-lake system flood storage exceeds 50% full. I don't know if the regulation plan above is the current one. More rain in the forecast this week.

Maybe some caddis will start coming up in the White Hole parking lot. Quillback and snagged in outlet 3 2
