I'm actually a little jealous.  I'm out here in Montana, and was waiting with great anticipation for the Mother's Day caddis hatch on the Yellowstone.  A week ago, the caddis started to appear.  The river was in pretty good shape, and warm weather was forecast but not too warm.  And then it rained about as hard as it ever rains in Montana, and it was a rain just warm enough to melt some high snow.  And it was followed by two days of 75-80 degree temps.  The caddis got thicker, but the river blew out.  Now today it's 37 degrees and snowing, the caddis have obviously disappeared, and the river is high enough that even this bit of cold weather won't bring it down enough to be fishable.

The Mother's Day caddis hatch happens with all conditions right about once every four years.  This ain't gonna be one of those years!
