I decided to avoid all the guide boats and associated racket from their jet boats up at the dam today and went for some quiet time at the Cotter walk in access this morning.  There must be 30 guide boats up at the dam every morning doing the circle...drifting down a couple hundred yards and then blasting back up to dam. You need to wear ear plugs up there.

Oh well, Cotter was good and very little traffic, and the guides down here actually idle back when they pass you wading. Fishing was good and quite a few caddis coming off.

Here is the best one today.

On sunny days they start between 9-10 am. Not many, but enough to get the trout interested.
