I used to fish Walker lake a lot about 8 years ago & almost always caught fish occasionally a really nice one. Went there a couple of days ago in the evening, nothing. Every once in a while you’d get a little bump. Tried different colors & different techniques, nothing. I know last summer they had a pump failure & lost a large number of fish. The pump has been fixed, I’m wondering if they haven’t restocked. Others fishing I talked to were having the same results.
Any thought?

That’s a thought, now I’m trying to think what the weather was like on that evening.

Check your fishing trip notes.

No fishing notes, that’s something I need to start doing. The file cabinet in my head is full & every time I add something, something else falls out. 😊

Me too, I have a chronic disease called "too many birthdays"...

There’s only one confirmed cure for that disease.

Doyou keep your fishing notes electronically or pen & paper?

If they restocked, they don't usually stock adult fish... just fingerlings.  Much cheaper.  It may be several years before the fish are big enough for catching.

That’s good to know, thanks that would explain the crappy fishing.
