gramps50 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I used to fish Walker lake a lot about 8 years ago & almost always caught fish occasionally a really nice one. Went there a couple of days ago in the evening, nothing. Every once in a while you’d get a little bump. Tried different colors & different techniques, nothing. I know last summer they had a pump failure & lost a large number of fish. The pump has been fixed, I’m wondering if they haven’t restocked. Others fishing I talked to were having the same results. Any thought?
snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Could have just been a day with less than optimal conditions? Post storm, high bluebird skies can really shut em down. dpitt 1

FishnDave Posted June 16 Posted June 16 If they restocked, they don't usually stock adult fish... just fingerlings. Much cheaper. It may be several years before the fish are big enough for catching.
