I may need to dig one here and see what it looks like. The farm was wet, and choked out with weeds. You may have soft neck garlic, which doesn’t get the thick stem. They’re probably ready to dig if the leaves are dying back whether soft or hard neck. Dug my Hardneck today. Down to a shelf in the basement where the dehumidifier is to cure for a few weeks now. BilletHead 1 John
oneshot 1 Posted August 12 Author Posted August 12 Yes I planted Hard Neck. I also planted Onions from seed actually I planted them late Winter in the Greenhouse. Kept them cut back to 5 inches. You want Long Day Onion Seed. Best Onions I've ever had. oneshot ness 1
