State Park slam 10-5

SWPA reduced the flows to 1 unit starting this morning, which opens many wading opportunities.  I went to the state park had a good morning with lots of rainbows, a few brookies, 1 cutthroat and a couple browns. A purple crackleback worked early and then I switched to a grey scud under an indicator and started getting some larger trout. There were lots of boats out today and a few other waders.

Thank God! I’ll be able to fish Batesvillie again soon

Grass carp, common carp, hybrid stripers, Buffalo, and suckers. LNG, Spotted, and Shortnose swim there too. 
snakehead also, but there numbers are too low to target. I have better spots to try for those.

have you fished cold spring access on the spring river? the lake above the hatchery?  allegedly they have a good population of buffalo.

I have fished there 3-4 times. I’ve seen carp, but I’ve never seen a Buffalo
