Article re: Netherlands American Cemetery

I hope you are able to read this article regarding one of the 14 cemeteries throughout Europe that hold the remains of US soldiers killed in WWII. It's amazing the gratitude the locals have, even 80 years later.

I mentioned before that on our trip to Normandy last summer it was really moving to see the remembrances, and there were as many US flags and French around Utah and Omaha beaches. They truly appreciate what the Allies did for them.

Most truly are appreciative of their sacrifice.  I visited a few, including the American Cemetery in Luxembourg and Patton’s grave - these cemeteries truly are well cared for.  I traced ‘Patton’s run’ while visiting, including cemeteries and memorials like the one Bastogne.  There is still visible evidence and damage from that time everywhere you look….IF you are looking.  Recommend if you get the opportunity.
